Well we managed to break even for the CFL Betting Tips as we went 2-2.

First our wins.

We had the Winnipeg Blue Bombers +4.5 and for the second week in a row we didn’t need the points as the Bombers came away with the 27-26 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The Blue Bombers had a 17 point lead early in the 3rd quarter only to let Hamilton storm back into the game with 23 unanswered points. But it was a last play of the game touchdown for Winnipeg to gain the win.

Our other win came when we had the Rough Riders -5.5 against the Ottawa REDBLACKS. The Riders won 38-14. Saskatchewan raced out to a 32-0 lead with 24 of those points coming in the first quarter.

Now for our losses.

We had the Montreal Alouettes -3 against the Toronto Argonauts and Toronto came back to life after their bad start to the season winning this game with ease 31-5. Steve Slaton rushed for 52 yards and grabbed two touchdowns for the Argos. The Alouettes didn’t score a touchdown for the second game in a row

And we also had the Calgary Stampeders -4.5 against the B.C Lions. After winning their first 4 games of the season the Stamps fell to the Lions 25-24. This was the Stamps game up until the 4th. They were up 21-13 heading into the 4th and were still leading until a 65 yard TD by the Lions with 1:32 sealed their fate. Bo Levi Mitchell suffered his first loss and also threw his first interception of the season.

Here is the CFL schedule for week 7

Thursday, August 7th: Saskatchewan Roughriders vs Winnipeg Blue Bombers @ 8:30 pm

Friday, August 8th: Edmonton Eskimos vs Montreal Alouettes @ 7:00 pm , Hamilton Tiger-Cats vs B.C Lions @ 10:00 pm

Saturday, August 10th: Ottawa Redblacks vs Calgary Stampeders @ 7:30 pm

Going to be a good week of football so let’s get to the CFL Betting Tips for Week 7

Roughriders vs Blue Bombers Betting Tips

Both of these teams come into this game on 2 game winning streaks.

The Blue Bombers have been the underdog in the last two games and are again for this one. They currently have the Riders -2.5

The Riders have been able to capitalize on early turnovers in their last two games and I can’t see them being able to have that kind of luck for a third straight

But with the way the Bombers have been playing I like their chances in this one.

So like we have for the last two weeks we are going to go with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers +2.5. And we have taken them the last two weeks with the points and they haven’t needed them

This is going to be a close game so Winnipeg +2.5 at Sports Interaction for 1.91

Eskimos vs Alouettes

On paper this looks like a mismatch. On the field it will look like……a mismatch. These teams have completely opposite records with the Eskies sitting at 4-1 and the Als at 1-4.

Montreal is on a 3 game losing streak, got their asses kicked last week by the Argos and haven’t thrown a TD in the last two games.

Edmonton is coming off of a bye week and they lost their last game to the Stampeders when both of them were still undefeated.

I like the Eskimos to pick up where they left off before the Calgary loss and with a week off to rest this is going to be a big game for them

Eskimos -6.5 for 1.91 odds at Sports Interaction

Tiger-Cats vs Lions

The Lions have been back and forth all year; 2 wins, 2 losses, 1 win then 1 loss.

The Ticats have only 1 win on the year, against the Redblacks, yet somehow still sit in 2nd in the East Division.

I just don’t see how the Ticats are going to be able to come out on top in this one having only 1 win against one of the worst teams in the league so far this year. The Lions have beaten some good teams; Roughriders, Alouettes and the Stampeders

Lions -7 @ Sports Interaction

Redblacks vs Stampeders

Not much to say here.

Stamps are going to have a huge bounce back game and it’s the Redblacks who are going to be on the receiving end of it

Although the spread intimidates me a little bit there is no value unless you take the Stampeders – 13
