Last week the Eskimos completely dominated the Bombers winning 25-7. This was the Eskimos best game of the season and by far the best game the Eskimos Defense has had all year. Edmonton managed to put 17 first quarter points and never looked back
It was the Mike Reilly show last week. Eskimos QB Mike Reilly went 16 for 25 for 196 yards and 3 TDs to go with 113 rushing yards in what was his most impressive performance of his CFL career. Another big story for the Eskies was the yet again strong performance from wide receiver Fred Stamps. Stamps, who really should be playing for Calgary, had 4 catches for 56 yards and 2 TDs which brings his total for the year to 821 receiving yards and 9 TDs both tops in the league.

If last weeks game was any indication than this week should also be a cake walk for Edmonton. They were able to put up more points in the first quarter alone then Winnipeg was able to for the entire game.
Edmonton’s D. If they can play even half as well as they last week then this well be over before the half yet again. And if Mike Reilly continues to improve, as he has with each passing week, then this game could end in a blowout once again.
Is Mike Reilly the best QB in the CFL? Well after last weeks performance then he has to be considered one of the if not the best the CFL has to offer and needs to be mentioned in the same breath as Lulay and Burris . And if he can continue to improve, the way he has each and every week so far, then the skies the limit for this guy. I expect another HUGE game from him this week as the momentum gained during last weeks game will surely carry over to this weeks contest.
I really love the -2.5 spread for this one. Sure this game will have a final score that will be closer than last weeks 18 point thumping but they will easily cover the spread for us to cash in on the continued struggles of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers
