On Saturday, July 13th at 6:30 week 3 gets underway for both the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Week 2 saw the Ticats lose 30-20 to the Edmonton Eskimos. Not even the rain could slow down the Eskimos running back Hugh Charles who led the Eskimos to the victory with 200 all purpose yards. The loss moved the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to 0-2 on the 2013 CFL Season. Ticats QB Henry Burris had a so-so game with 234 yards, one score and 2 interceptions but he did this without the services of his favourite target, Andy Fantuz, who was sidelined with a lower body injury.

In a battle of team defense the Winnipeg Blue Bombers came out on top in their week 2 contest winning 19-11 against the Montreal Alouettes. This was the second half of their home and home series. Edmonton’s defense held Montreal and their QB Anthony Calvillo to only 121 yards. They also sacked him 7 times.. Despite a late charge by the Alouettes, the Eskimos held on for their first win of the season.

Blue Bombers vs Tiger-Cats Betting Tips

Weather permitting we should be treated to a better executed game on Saturday for the Blue Bombers.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are still looking for their first win of the season after dropping their first two game to the Argonauts and the Eskimos.

This game is hard to predict but you would have to think that the momentum that the Blue Bombers gained in last weeks win will carry over to this week and help them in the victory.

Over their first 2 games the Winnipeg Blue Bombers defense has a 11 quarterback sacks and its that defense that is so much better then Hamilton’s which gives the Blue Bombers the edge and also our pick to win this week.

And when you look at the odds for a Blue Bombers win straight up it makes this bet incredibly valuable. When you take the Bombers with the +4.5 spread the odds are 1.87. But when you bet that the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will win the game thus ignoring the point spread and instead betting the money line the odds jump to 2.65 betting odds.

This will be a close game but still it will be one where the Blue Bombers will come out victorious. Hamilton will have to wait until week 4 to pick up their first win of the season.

Head to Bovada and bet the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Money Line Bet for 2.65 betting odds. That’s some serious money for us to win here so let’s go Winnipeg!!
