Last week Montreal squeaked by the Redblacks 23-17 to hold their lead over the Argos for first in the East Division.
The Stamps scored 25 unanswered points in the 4th to come away with the win over the Roughriders 40-27. This was the Riders 5th straight loss and now find themselves in 4th place in the West.
The Argonauts won a nail biter against the Ticats 26-24. With the win the Argos stayed within striking distance of the Alouettes for first place and a bye in the East. Huge game for Argos RB Steve Slaton who totaled 80 rushing yards, 77 receiving yards and a touchdown in the win.
And finally it was the B.C Lions beating the Blue Bombers 28-23 to clinch a playoff spot. After Lions QB Kevin Glenn left the game due to concussion symptoms, John Beck came into the game in the second half and threw two 4th quarter scores.

With a win, Edmonton would clinch 2nd place in the West.
Although they are already guaranteed a playoff spot, the Lions are fighting with Saskatchewan for 3rd and have an extra game thanks to the Roughriders on a bye week this week.

You couldn’t have scripted this any better if you tried.
Both teams are fighting for 1st place in the East with Montreal holding the slight edge.
In the final week Toronto takes on Ottawa and Montreal gets Hamilton. With the advantage in week 20 clearly going to the Argos, Montreal can’t afford to lose this game or they will finish the season in 2nd in the East.
The Argo fan in me says let’s take Toronto for the win. But the smart thing to do is avoid betting on you team for the sake of it.
Got to go with Montreal at home in this one and it pains me to say it.
