Welcome to Week 15 of the CFL.

We’re not too far now from the end of the season as we prepare to enter the final quarter. It’s been a pretty solid season and it’s nice to actually see some competiveness from the East for once.

Only the three games last week but unfortunately it was a 1-2 week for us.

We thought in the battle of the bad, it would be close. That wasn’t the case. BC Lions got a huge 29-5 win over the Ottawa Redblacks who look just terrible.

We predicted the Stampeders to beat Hamilton and they did so. Unfortunately they didn’t come close to beating the 6.5 point spread as they won 19-18.

We did win with Alouettes +6.5 as they came close to beating the Roughriders.

Back to our usual 4 games for Week 15.

Stampeders vs Argonauts Betting Tips:

The Stampeders are just 1 win behind the Blue Bombers in regard to who is topping the West. The Argonauts are currently bottom of the East with just 2 wins this season. The Argonauts have shown a lot of life lately though. Their last 5 games they have scored over 20 points and have their two wins in that time – over the Bombers and the Redblacks.

I’m fine with backing that to continue. The Argonauts defense is hot garbage but their offense has turned things around and I’m hoping that continues here.

Over 53.5 Points

Tiger-Cats vs Eskimos Betting Tips:

Hamilton are top of the East and take on the Eskimos who are 4th in the West and looking good for the playoffs regardless.

Eskimos have Logan Kilgore starting here.

Unfortunately there is no point spread currently. I believe the Eskimos are opening as a few point underdogs from talking to my friends who set the lines. I will try to remember to update this but if that is the case then take the Tiger-Cats. They are simply better than the Eskimos and without Harris they could struggle.

Blue Bombers vs Alouettes Betting Tips:

Winnipeg are slight 2.5 point favourites here as they head on the road to Montreal.

The Alouettes have actually been excellent this season and I feel like a lot of teams aren’t taking them seriously. However the Bombs are rested and will have Andrew Harris back. That will be big ofr them. Chris Streveler has looked solid. Alouettes are coming off a loss and I like Winnipeg to continue their run.

Blue Bombers -2.5

Lions vs Redblacks Betting Tips:

A repeat of the game featuring two of the crappy CFL teams. Last time out BC thrashed the Redblacks.

This one is in Ottawa.

Honestly I think it’s worth betting the Lions here. Ottawa just looked terrible and the home/away split doesn’t seem to be a factor for either team this season.

I really do hope the Redblacks make it competitive and make it a good game, but I mean they were absolutely pounded last week. Mike Reilly looked solid and the Redblacks defence couldn’t get to him.

Lions -3
