Congrats to Team Canada for winning the gold medal in the World Juniors. That was a crazy game and if and when I ever meet Mason McTavish I’m buying him a bunch of beers for that incredible save he pulled off on the goaline when it looked like Finland was going to score. Just an amazing game.
The Lions went to work against the Roughriders and they won 28-10. Rourke had another decent game throwing for 375 yards and 2 touchdowns, he also threw 2 picks but he suffered a foot injury. Rhymes caught 6 for 127 yards and Lucky Whitehead caught 9 for 136 and one TD. With the win the Lions are comfortably in 2nd place in the both the West and the League with 16 points and trail only the Bombers who have 18.
The Elks had a strong 3rd quarter where they put up 14 points and beat the Redblacks 30-12. Whatever was said during halftime worked wonders for Edmonton as they were trailing heading into the 2nd half. They came out swinging scoring three touchdowns and not allowing Ottawa to score a single point in the 2nd half.
The Alouettes vs Tiger-Cats game was a good back and forth one. Als kicker David Cote hit a 48 yard field goal with no time left on the clock to pick up the 29-28 win. With the win the Als are currently in 2nd place in the East.
The final game of the weekend was the Stampeders vs the Argonauts. The Stamps were trailing at halftime 16-10 and sat Mitchell for the 2nd half. From there the Stamps outscored the Argos 12-3 and came back to win the game 22-19.
Stampeders vs Blue Bombers Betting Tips
The Stamps had a big come from behind win last week so I would expect them to start Maier in this one as Mitchell struggled to get the offense going.
The Bombers were off last week and have had all of that time to think about taking their first loss of the season in week 10.
With the game in Winnipeg I expect the Bombers to get back on track with a win here. The have played twice this season with the Bombers winning both and both wins covered the 5.5 spread of this game

Tiger-Cats vs Argonauts Betting Tips
Both teams lost last week. The Tiger-Cats lost a close one losing by 1 point and the Argos blew a halftime lead to the Stamps.
With the Als having this week off the Argos van gain a little ground on them with a win here at home. The Argos did win against the Ticats when they played and were at home in week 9.

Roughriders vs Lions Betting Tips
These teams played each other last week and the Lions won. But the Lions lost Rourke to a foot injury. Not sure how long he will be out but he was a huge part of their success this season.
The Lions have won 5 in a row but with Rourke undergoing surgery I feel it best to avoid this game.
RedBlacks vs Elks Betting Tips
They played each other last week with the Elks winning.
Tough game to call as both teams have been shit this season. Both are in last place in their respective divisions.
With last weeks results and the game now moving to Edmonton I like the Elks to have their first 2 game win streak of the season.
