We had the Stamps +3.5 but they didn’t cover by half a point when they beat the Alouettes 30-27. They were down 24-14 at halftime but outscored Montreal 16-3 in the 2nd half and picked up the win.
Next we had the Bombers to win -10. The Bombers did win but it was only by 2 points 19-17. The RedBlacks were up 14-10 after the 3rd but the Bombers outscored them 9-3 in the final quarter for the win.
Our final tip was the Lions -6.5 against the Elks and they easily covered when they won 59-15. The Lions James Butler had a huge game scoring 4 touchdowns before halftime ending with 2 rushing and 2 receiving TDs.
The other game of the weekend was the Tiger-Cats vs the Roughriders and the Riders won 30-13. This was a close game that saw the Riders winning 12-6 after the 3rd but put up 18 points in the 4th for the big win.
Let’s get to week 2 and some betting tips.
Alouettes vs Argonauts Betting Tips
The Alouettes almost picked up the win in week 1. Adams threw 2 interceptions but didn’t look too bad. If they could have continued to play the did threw the first 3 quarters they would have won but they fell apart in the 4th.
This is the Argos first game of the season. In the preseason they didn’t look very good losing one and winning the other by 1 point.
With the Argos starting their season and all home teams winning in week 1 I’ll follow that trend and take the Argos here.

Blue Bombers vs Redblacks Betting Tips
A rematch of last week’s game. The Bombers won but they didn’t win by as much as they were expected to.
The line dropped from last week where the Bombers were -10 this week they’re -7.5. I feel like with the first game out of the way the Bombers will have a better game this week.
Bombers -7.5
Stampeders vs Tiger-Cats Betting Tips
The Stamps picked up that big win in week 1 and I imagine they will try and build off of it. The Ticats looked bad in their week 1 loss. Their quarterback was sacked 8 times and threw 2 picks. They have made it to the Grey Cup the last two seasons but they didn’t look like a team who would go to the finals.
After the way both looked in week one I’ll take the Stampeders with the points.

Roughriders vs Elks Betting Tips
The Elks looked terrible in week 1. It could be a long season for them. The Riders offense didn’t really come alive until the 4th in their win but their defense was great.
The Riders had a good season last year and I expect the same from them this year. Having the Elks in week 2 after opening the season with a big win will help the Riders gain some momentum going forward.
