We had under 51.5 in the Stampeders vs Elks game. This looked good for us after the 1st half when the Stamps were up 14-3. But the Stamps outscored the Elks 35-3 in the 2nd half and won 49-6 hitting 55 points total and going over.
Next we had the Roughriders -4.5 against the Redblacks. The Riders easily covered when they won 28-13. The Riders outscored the Redblacks 19-3 in the 2nd quarter and that where they won the game as it was fairly close in the 3 others. The loss pushed the RedBlacks to their 4th straight loss to open the season.
The final game of the weekend was the Blue Bombers vs the Lions and we had the Bombers +3.5. Well the Bombers certainly didn’t need the points spread as they went to work and won 43-22. Graeme said that he thought that Collaros would step up and he did throwing for 288 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Elks vs Alouettes Betting Tips
The Elks lost last week and are 1-4 on the season. The Alouettes had a bye last week and are 1-3.
The Elks got their win in week 4 against the winless Ticats, the Als got theirs in in week 3 against the 4-1 Roughriders.
With the Alouettes at home and coming off of a bye week. The spread is 7.5. In each of the Elks losses they lost by the spread so if the Als are to win here they should cover.

Stampeders vs Blue Bombers Betting Tips
Both teams are coming into this games after a win. Both teams are also undefeated with the Stamps 4-0 and the Bombers 5-0.
The Stampeders put up 49 points last week and have hit at least 30 in their other 3 games. The Bombers scored 43 last week but have had some close games so far.
With both teams perfect on the season this should be a good game.

Roughriders vs Argonauts Betting Tips
The Riders won last week, are on a 2 game win streak and are 4-1 on the year. The Argos had a bye last week and are 1-2 this season. It’s wild that with that record, the Argos are in 1st place in the East.
Despite the Argos being in 1st place they are taking on a team who are in 4th in the West who have a 4-1 record.
As an Argonauts fan I’m happy to see them leading the East but I just don’t see them having a good game against the Riders.

RedBlacks vs Tiger-Cats Betting Tips
The Redblacks lost last week and have now dropped 4 straight to start the season 0-4. The Ticats are also in the same boat losing their 1st 4 games to go 0-4 but had last week off.
Tough to call a winner here.
The Redblacks have been able to keep their games close with the exception of last week’s game. The Ticats have also been able to keep games close and took one of them to OT against the Stamps.
With them at home like the Ticats here but the spread is 5.5.
