A good week for us with the CFL Betting Tips as went 3-1.  It’s funny how the one loss came from the Roughriders.  Yet again they screw me over.

The Alouettes snapped their 3 game losing streak when they beat the Lions 23-13 which is great as we had them +3. Heading into the 4th the Lions were up 13-12 but Montreal put up 11 points in the final quarter for the win.  Tyrell Dutton picked up 111 yards on 14 carries for the Als.

Next we had the Tiger-Cats -2.5 against the Eskimos and yet again it was Hamilton putting up lots of points in their 49-20 win. The Ticats scored 14 points in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters as they cruised to their victory.  Another big game from Zach Collaros who went 17-29 for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns.

We had the Stampeders -6 against the Roughriders but the Stampeders only won by 3 when the game finished 34-31 for Calgary. The Riders are 0-8 while the Stamps are 6-2 and in first place in the West. I did expect the Riders to have a better effort in this one after having a bye week the previous week but I didn’t see them keeping as close as they did.

The final game of the weekend was the Redblacks vs the Argonauts and we had the Redblacks +8.5. The Argos won 30-24.  I had mentioned in the tips for this game that I liked the Argos to win the game but the 8.5 spread was scaring me.

And here we go with week 10.  The halfway point of the 2015 season already.  Here’s the schedule for the week:

Thursday, August 27th Alouettes vs Tiger-Cats @ 7:30
Friday, August 28th Argonauts vs Eskimos @ 9:00
Saturday, August 29th Stampeders vs Blue Bombers @ 6:00
Sunday, August 30th Roughriders vs Redblacks @ 4:00

Alouettes vs Tiger-Cats Betting Tips

It’s tough to bet against the Tiger-Cats at this point.  They are scoring with ease and are on fire having won their last 5 games.  Just days after beating the Lions 23-13, the Alouettes fired their head coach Tom Higgins who will be replaced by Montreal GM Jim Popp.  So with a new coach and a new game plan you have to expect the Als to have some bumps along the way.  Plus back in week 4 it was Montreal coming away with the win between these team 17-13 so the Ticats will be looking for revenge.

Tiger-Cats -9.5

Argonauts vs Eskimos Betting Tips

After getting their asses kicked by Hamilton last week,  you know the Eskimos will be looking to get back on track in this game but it won’t be easy.  Toronto has been playing some solid football and are on a 3 game win.  The last time these teams met was in week 1 and it was Toronto coming away with the 26-11 win.  Lots has changed since that game. Can we expect the same outcome?

I expect this game to be a close one so I am going with the team with the points.

Stampeders vs Blue Bombers Betting Tips

A couple of streaks going on in this game.  For Calgary they have won 3 in a row where the Bombers have lost their last 2.  The Stampeders are fighting with the Eskimos for first place in the West and currently are ahead of them by 2 points.  With Edmonton taking on a strong Toronto team this could be a great chance for the Stamps to increase their lead.

Stampeders -6 for 1.91

Roughriders vs Redblacks Betting Tips

They showed some life last week and only lost by 3 points, but the Roughriders are still winless.  Ottawa is on a 2 game losing streak and must be viewing this game as a must win over a down and out team. Ottawa is at home where they have been solid going 3-1 in their 4 games at home.
