Rough week as we went 1-2.

Had the Eskimos to beat the Lions  but it was the Lions who came away with the 26-23 win snapping the Eskimos win streak at 4.  Edmonton went off in the 2nd gaining 17 points but B.C held on.  Big game from Lions back Andrew Harris .  He had 20 carries for 118 yards and a touchdown.

I thought Montreal would come out and avenge their previous loss to Ottawa but it was the Redblacks winning 26-23.  With the win, Ottawa is now tied for 1st place in the East Division.

I stayed away from betting on the Riders vs Argos game and that worked out.  I thought Toronto would win this game but the 10 point spread scared me off.  I wasn’t going to bet on the Riders again as they have burnt me far to often this season.  The Argonauts won but only by 4 points in their 30-26 win.  The Riders put up 13 in the 2nd and 10 in the 3rd but the Argos held on for the win pushing the Riders to a 0-7 start to the 2015 season.

We had the Tiger-Cats -7.5 against the Blue Bombers for decent 2.05 odds and the Ticats won 38-8.  Another dominant game like the 52-26 game back in week 2 two from Hamilton.  They scored 21 points in the 1st, 10 in the 2nd and 7 in the 4th. So with the Ticats winning as well as the Redblacks and the Argonauts all three are still tied for 1st in the East with a 4-2 record.

Alright.  Let’s have a look at the week 8 schedule

Thursday, August 13th Eskimos vs Alouettes @ 7:30pm
Friday, August 14th Argonauts vs Blue Bombers @ 8:00pm
Saturday, August 15th Lions vs Tiger-Cats @ 7:00pm, Redblacks vs Stampeders @ 10:00pm

Eskimos vs Alouettes Betting Tips

Both of these teams took the loss last week.

Montreal is having a rough go so far this season .  They’re in last in the East and take on some tough teams in the next few weeks until their bye week in week 12.  Edmonton is tied for first in the West with Calgary and needs to win this game to keep pace with the Stamps as they themselves have a tough schedule coming up.

Argonauts vs Blue Bombers Betting Tips

After opening the season with 2 straight wins, the Argos have gone 2-2 since.  The Blue Bombers got pounded by the Ticats last week losing 38-8.

Drew Willy will be out for the next 6-8 weeks with a knee injury so the Bombers will need Brian Brohm or Robert Marve to step up and take the starting qb roll.  That’s going to be tough for Winnipeg.

Argonauts Win

Lions vs Tiger-Cats Betting Tips

Hamilton is on a 3 game win streak and are tied for 1st in the East. They are playing their 3rd straight at home . During this streak they have scored 30+ points in each game.  The Lions currently sit in 3rd place in the West.  The Lions record of 3-3 is hard to read thanks to 2 of their wins coming again the Riders.

I like Hamilton to continue their strong play at home and take this game.

Tiger-Cats -8.5 for 1.91

Redblacks vs Stampeders Betting Tips

Ottawa is on a two game win streak and one of those was against the Stampeders.  They have surprised me with how well they have played this year.  Sure last year was a disaster and it was expected but the way they have turned things around this year is amazing.  Still early and the wheels may fall off but it’s still impressive.

I like the Stamps to win this game but I think Ottawa will keep it close.
